This week, partners from across Europe and the US gathered in Copenhagen for the official kick-off of AgNUE, marking the beginning of our international research platform focused on improving how nitrogen dynamics are understood, monitored and modelled in agricultural systems.
Over three days, researchers, work package leaders and project partners came together to align the scientific direction and practical implementation of the platform. Discussions focused on work package coordination, supersite planning, and data integration.
Beyond the formal programme, the kick-off created an important space for building relationships and strengthening collaboration across disciplines, institutions and countries, a key foundation for the project.
AgNUE brings together partners across Europe and the US with the shared ambition of reducing uncertainties in nitrogen balances and improving the scientific basis for future agricultural and environmental assessments.
